Survivors follows four Sudanese women whose paths keep crossing. What begins as a record of what was taken from them slowly becomes a record of what they built back. I wanted to sit with them rather than explain them, and to let survival show itself for what it is: daily, unglamorous work, and enough to build a life on again.
